An upscale experience. A timeless craft.
Founded in 2020 in the heart of Leeds city centre, Hairitage carries the soul of something far older. Ako grew up surrounded by barbering - his father and grandfather ran a traditional shop back in Kurdistan - and that same generational pride in the craft is woven into every detail of this space.
In 2025, Ako undertook a major renovation - expanding to three chairs and deepening the vintage aesthetic that defines Hairitage. But this has always been more than a barbershop. With over 8,000 customers travelling from across Yorkshire and beyond, and a firm belief in giving back to the community that shaped it, Hairitage stands for something: exceptional craft, honestly priced, open to everyone.
